Companion/sitter-only businesses are also pulled in — 63 O.S. §1-1960/§1-1972: any agency that provides, offers or advertises companion or sitter services shall become licensed under the Home Care Act, and licensed facilities may refer clients for personal care or companion/sitter services only to a licensed agency (§1-1962B). Home health aides must be certified and on the OSDH registry within 4 months of employment.
