What you may do is set by your classification (OAR 333-536-0007 / 333-536-0045): personal care tasks are the base service; housekeeping and supportive services (housekeeping, laundry, shopping/errands, transportation, arranging medical appointments) may also be provided. Medication assistance requires at least Basic, medication administration/set-up Intermediate or above, and nursing services require the Comprehensive classification — a Limited agency may not provide them.

The skilled door in Oregon

There is no separate Oregon home health license for the nursing an in-home care agency provides: nursing services sit inside this same license at the Comprehensive classification (OAR 333-536-0080: agency must be classified comprehensive and employ an RN; clients' conditions must be stable and predictable). A separately licensed Home Health Agency under ORS 443.005-443.095 / OAR 333-027 is the distinct Medicare-style home health lane (its own fees, e.g. $1,600 initial / $850 renewal in OAR 333-027-0025).
